Dear John Kuberka, webmaster extraordinaire,
Hareybhai Patel Community Center Bhavsor

I have recieved this photo (see below) of the completed Community center in the Village Margaret Reed and I lived for 2 years as part of India 35. I asked for contributions to it in memory of Margaret Reed who died in 1969 in an auto accident while going home for Thanksgiving. Friends of India Contributed generously as did Margaret's sister and several other India 35ers. The Grand Celebration was held on May 30th which it turned out to be the hottest day in that area of Gujarat yet this year. There were 2000 people who were served a regular celebration meal at the community center that day. Dr. Chiminbhai Patel whose home was in the village until he went on to collage, then to college in the U S, was on hand to read a greeting from me and a translated paper that I use to tell about my experience in the village 37 years ago. The Center was dedicated to Dr. Patel's father, Harebhai Patel as Chiminbhai make the biggest contribution and carried thou with the plans to completion even thou it didn't go as fast as he expected it to be finished. He says we would be very happy with it if we saw it in person. I was unable to attend do to health restrains. I still good forward to touring the area in the future. I hope you can post this photo. My member name is 'vrajendrel'.
